Meet David Spritzer

At the age of fifty David has over thirty-six years of drums and vocal experience. He has played with numerous local bands and has toured the Midwest and Canada.

Local bands he has played with include Justus, Summer Snow, Common Company, Friends, Buzz Norman and the Alan Lawton Band. Touring and regional bands he has played with include Katz & Jammers, Ken Vadell and the Deltones, Otis Hackett & the Rackett, Debbie Birch Band, Ryder West, Russ Harkins Band, Big John and the 39th Street Blues Band, The Rising Suns, and The Skeptics.

He has played on stage with T. J. Sheppard, Tom T. Hall, The Platters, Ozark Mountain Dare Devils, The Inkspots, Billy "Crash" Craddock, Dennis Wilson, trombone player, and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.

David is the heartbeat of Johnny I and the Receders, responsible for the kick-ass rhythm and passion of the groove. Never tentative, always intense, Kleen Head lays it down and takes it out!
