Like most knowledgeable horn players Gharett started playing in school band class. But unlike most he was bitten by the music bug, and had to hook up with the other friends in school and the neighborhood to form what we call garage bands. Gharett's love for music was what caused him to make music his major in college.
Gharett has worked with many bands in and around the Kansas City area including, Fast Johnny, Dan Doran, The Nortons, and now Johnny I and the Receders. Along with brother Greg on drums Gharett is an outstanding addition to the band. Playing saxophone, keyboards, and singing lead and background vocals you'll be amazed at the talent this man has!!!
